i was in heavy doubt about the organization, but still in the back of my mind i was a bit hesitant of posting because it was the "unforgivable sin".
i think it took me 20 minutes to type my first post.
i still felt that once i submitted my post that a bolt of lightning was going to come down upon me, so my hands were shaking as i was typing.

Two phases:
First, reading of forbidden sites. Hands shaking. Looking over my shoulder while using a Public Library computer. That mentally freed me.
Second, actually posting. Hands shaking. Same thing only this time it was because I knew my world would come crashing down if I was caught. I wasn't worried about my "everlasting life" being hitched to the Watchtower wagon anymore.

Judging by his quality vs. quantity comment, maybe he had the impression that you were just a "go along for the ride" kind of publisher who would be a burden on the other publishers, especially if you were trying to get in 60 hrs a month. Any possibility that's what he had in mind?
Let's say I've called this one exactly right. (BTW, I'm not trying to slam you here, I'm actually gunning for the PO) You were just someone who went along with the group and maybe shoved a magazine or tract in a householder's face when a "more mature" dub forced you into it. The elders should have talked to you about the specifics rather than keeping it to themselves in their "good old boys club". I've seen this happen to many brothers who wanted to "reach out". They were never (or rarely) told what to work on specifically. They were just left hanging. Sometimes for years on end.
